Jonathan Lane was born in Cincinnati, OH, however he has spent most of his life in Florida. He attended Palm Harbor University High School in the Tampa Bay area, and afterwards attended the University of Florida for his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He then embarked on a cross country adventure, working for the Southwest Conservation Corps out of Tucson, AZ. He had the opportunity to visit multiple parks, forest lands, and national monuments throughout the southwest, helping to develop recreational trails, park structures, and clean spaces. After getting a thorough fix of nature, camping, and travel, Dr. Lane attended Nova Southeastern University for dental school. Dr. Lane then completed a 1 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency as well as a 3 year Periodontics residency with the U.S. Army. While in residency he also completed a Masters Degree in Oral Biology from Augusta University. He just recently completed his obligation to the Army as a periodontal mentor back at the AEGD program where his Army career started; Joint Base Lewis McChord!

 

 

 Dr. Lane met his wife, Sarah, while originally stationed at JBLM in 2012. Since then they’ve had several moves together, including a two- year assignment in Seoul, Korea, and have raised two wonderful daughters along the way. Jonathan and Sarah both have a deep love of the Pacific Northwest and look forward to expanding their roots in the area as their obligation to the military is completed. In his free time, Dr. Lane enjoys sharing ice-cream cones with his daughters, running, photography, travel, film, and piano.
