Meet The Staff

Front office

Liz is our office manager and financial coordinator; she will be who you meet with after your initial consultation with Dr. Echols or Dr. Coppin.  Liz has worked with Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin for 9 years and enjoys helping people plan financially for a healthy smile.  She also has a vast knowledge of dental insurance and how to best use your benefits in our office.  She enjoys working at our office because we provide exceptional service and care for all of our patients.  Outside of the office Liz likes to spend her time with her family, friends, and her 3 yellow labs, as well as enjoys doing any outdoor activities.

Emily is one of our two administrative assistants in the front office; she will also be able to assist you with your dental insurance questions and financial information.  Emily has been with Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin for 5 years and she is also able to get you scheduled for exams and appointments in our office.  Emily is recently married and in her free time she likes to spend time with her friends and family as well as taking her two black labs duck hunting, they recently added a new dog named Tug to their bunch.

Jessica is one of our two administrative assistant; she has been with Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin for 3 years. She will be the one who greets you with a friendly smile when you check in for your appointments with Dr. Echols or Dr. Coppin.  She is also able to schedule you for future appointments with Dr. Echols or Dr. Coppin as well as assist you with any questions you may have.  In her spare time, Jessica also enjoys being an esthetician and spending time with her friends and family, as well as cooking and being outdoors. 

Brittany has worked with Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin for 6 years; she is the marketing coordinator for our office.  She spends her time keeping the general dentists in the area aware and up to date with new procedures and changes in our office as well as planning our continued education events throughout the year.  Outside of work she likes to spend time with her family and friends as well as her two dogs.

Debbie has been a dental assistant for over 20 years with most of those working in specialty practices.  She has been with our office for 3 years.  Debbie is our hygiene coordinator, she works with your general dentists office to make sure you are being taken care of.  She enjoys helping ease patient's fears of dental work and making them feel comfortable in our office.  Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and being outdoors.

Assistants

Vanessa is one of our 3 Registered Dental Assistants.  She has been with Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin for 4 years and enjoys coming to work everyday.  She loves helping our patients feel comfortable and diminish any anxiety they may have during their appointments in our office.  Outside of work Vanessa enjoys spending time with her daughter, cooking and doing yard work. 

Summer has been an assistant for 8 years.  She has been with our office for 7; she is a Registered Dental Assistant.  She loves coming to work and enjoys following the patients treatment from start to finish.  She also likes to ease patient's fears and anxiety.  In her time away from work she likes to be outdoors with her friends and family.

Christie has been a periodontal assistant for 12 years. She has been part of our staff for the last 7 years.  Christie will make you feel comfortable from your first visit at our office to your last appointment.  Outside of work she likes to spend time with her husband and watching her girls play basketball and soccer. 

Terra is a Registered Dental Assistant that recently attended Smokey Point Institute of Dental Assisting.  Before she joined our team she was a patient here and she enjoys making our patients feel comfortable and at ease during treatment.  Terra enjoys spending time with her husband, playing soccer and being outdoors. 

Dana is our sterilization technician.  She has worked with our office since 2008.  She enjoys working in our office where everyone works as a team.  She keeps our office clean and things moving in our sterilization lab.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her family.

Our Dental Hygienists

Cindy has worked for Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin since 1995.  She began as a dental assistant until 1997 when she went back to school for dental hygiene.  She graduated from Pierce College Dental Hygiene Program in 1999 and came back to work for Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin as a hygienist.  She likes the attention to detail that dentistry requires and loves the extra challenge of periodontal care.  Outside of work she enjoys volunteering time at her children's school as well as cooking and gardening. 

Julie began her work in the dental field as a dental assistant in 1985; she soon decided to go back to school to pursue a career in dental hygiene.  She graduated with her B.S. from Eastern Washington University in 1991 and began working as a hygienist in Spokane, WA at a general practice.  When Julie moved from Spokane to Olympia in 1997 she began working with Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin and has been here ever since.  She decided on a career in dental hygiene because of the one on one ability to educate & help her patients better their oral health; which in turn betters their overall health.  In her free time she spends time with friends and family.  Her 2 boys are very involved in sports so she spends a lot of time doing things outdoors.

Stacey graduated from Pierce College Dental Hygiene Program in 2000 & has worked for Dr. Echols and Dr. Coppin ever since.  She enjoys the level of teamwork & camaraderie that all the employees share here.  In her spare time Stacey likes playing the flute, rollerblading, baking desserts, hiking & skiing around the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband, Steve.
