Elisabeth L. Easley, DMD, MPh, MS
Dr. Elisabeth Easley is from Whitmore, California, a town you would miss if you blinked too long. She spent much of her childhood riding horses, chasing frogs, and exploring the wilderness with her little sister on their family’s ranch. Some of her earliest and favorite memories are family trips on the Oregon and Washington coasts and to the Shakespeare festivals in Ashland, Oregon. She studied undergrad at UC Davis, where she was introduced to her mentors and initially became interested in periodontics. Dental school followed at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, where she earned duel degrees, a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry and a Masters in Public Health. She completed her residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she spent three years and was awarded a certificate in Periodontology and a Masters of Science for research in oral biology. After so many years of a nomadic academic life, it was finally time to select a place to call home. Her fondness for the Pacific Northwest led to her search for opportunities in the Olympia area and her introduction to Dr. Bart Coppin. Their dedication to their patients, love for periodontics, and common literary interests signaled they’d make a great team.
Elisabeth and her fiance, Shane, a pilot in the United States Air Force, enjoy the outdoors including hiking, camping, and general exploration. They also enjoy traveling both in the states and abroad. When they are not searching for adventure they love spending time at home with their pets. She loves to cook, is an avid reader, volunteers in her community, and teaches fitness classes.
“For me, the most important aspect of dentistry is my relationship with my patients. I want my patient to feel comfortable and confident in his or her treatment plan and to be assured that there is no such thing as too many questions. Achieving oral health takes a team and the most important member of that team is the patient. I am excited to begin my newest adventure and to serve my patients and my community in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!”
